The city is home to one of the nations top attractions, LegoLand California Resort where kids and parents can enjoy the magical world of Legos. Want to stop and smell the roses? The Flower Fields of Carlsbad encompass 50-acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers which are only in bloom 6-8 weeks out of the year, March to May each spring. There are also a number of State beaches where patrons can reserve a campsite or just stay for the day and play in the waves.
